it really was. absolutely deliberate attempt to hurt the player. In it's way worse than the Taylor challenge on Eduardo - obviously the consequences are no where near as severe but it is intent that should be punished where possible. the couldn't be more innapropriately named Noble set out to hurt a player who had spent the evening making him look less than average and should have been red carded.

I think you'll find it is. As mentioned we can afford to draw or even lose on Tuesday to progress. We really ahve to win on Saturday to keep up the momentum in the league. I would go as far as saying the Reading game is as important too considering the following 3 league games.

its newcastle at anfield...i have no worries with lucas and alonso in the middle...and if needs be, we can push gerrard bk and swap him with lucas who has played that role behind the striker a few times for his former club and did petty good scoring a few goals while in that position

Yep, score the first within 20 minutes and then sub Gerrard, Torres & Carra. Also take off Reina, Alonso & Babel and we'll still keep a clean sheet & have the added bonus of resting 6 players. Maybe Benayoun can put a black & white shirt on and help them out a bit, for a laugh like. Would that insult Keegan enough into quitting?
