it's because his dad has come back to life. i'm pleased for him as well.

The "bring back from death" Spell is very dangerous and will have serious consequences as we have learnt from Buffy

I think he works hard, as ever, with little imagination. Likeable fella and as unselfish a player you'll find. (BUT)

It appears the formation has adapted. At least now when he is on the wing and running about tirelessly, the team is not depending on him for goals - we have adjusted Gerrard to support Torres more and have Babel providing a good threat. In the past, we had Kuyt upfront but in reality he was playing out wide. Now, at least, he can work hard for the team and offer a good out ball but yet the team have other attacking threats.

I think he's been no more than just adequate myself, as it gets dark, he just doesn't have the quality needed, a hardworking distraction from the other three

He's been adequate for the last few games, which is, well, adequate.

I'd take that from him at the moment

Still needs improving on, obviously

Thought he was very unlucky with his volley yesterday.

Showed good technique with that shot.

Doesn't get any better-looking, does he?

In the close season, he spends his time frightening small children.

The good thing about that was nothing to do with technique

It was the fact he was in the f***ing area at last

When he plays out wide, he gets into the area (Inter, yesterday...).

When he plays up front, he ends up near the half way bloody line...

Sometimes he does when he plays out wide, but not as often as he could/should.

Its funny cause this position seems to suit him more now - his 'hard work' can be used to better effect.

But this position would also be almost ideal for Benniyoon - who IMHO would provide much more creativity and dre I say it, goal threat.

Dirky has played decent for Dirky these last few games, but I think once Benni gets his chance there (hopefully on Weds) he can really make the position his own.

The systems also suits Xabi, Masch, Stevie, Babel and Torres - what a great, great 5 players to have in your side at once too, SHABBA!! My Bluenose friend was drooling over us and he's a c***.

He is the most expensive defender in Liverpool history.

I've been pleased with his return to some form.

I'm hoping that next season he'll be getting a respectable tally in the league once again

If he is in the regular starting XI next season something is badly wrong.

I want to build a brick wall around the box and just keep Kuyt in it.

Except he's not.

Though it was great to see him in the box more yesterday.
