Lanus Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Sorry if this is a repeat, im only home from work and Im tired. I saw on sky news that he is willing to block Gillette in his attempt to sell his shares. lads im totally fed up with this guy... things were just settling down and he comes out with this. I'm tired and annoyed... im aware that my judgement is a little clouded by this but I think that the previous talk of a boycott is now maybe needed. He thinks he is in charge? if he cant pay the bills then he will soon realise that he has no power at all. I think an almost all out boycott is needed... since i love the CL so much, i dont think its realistic to boycott tyhis but id actually be in favour of boycotting premiership matches.. reguardless of what it might cost us int he long run (not qualifying for the Cl next year maybe).... home that is some bit legible lads... again sorry if i missed where it was brought up before (if it has been) im so f***ed off by this tosser and i want him out by whatever means. what a c***.
Guest Prongsy Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I hope he doesn't push it so far that we have to boycott the football club. It could get pretty messy. Just take your money and f*** off, Tom. It's far easier when you're not wanted, you can't win this one.
Lanus Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 Exactly! I really hope he is angling for more money rather than seriously considering staying... I think it is high time we gave him a push tho... I know it wont happen but if only 10k fans showed up at our next few home games then his positions would weaken and he would be forced to sell. thinkabout it tho, we'd be doing our next owners a favour.. theyd get the club for a resonable price and maybe would be more willing to invest in the club.
MFletcher Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Even seeing his name in print winds me up. The photo of the smug c*** on the BBC report provoked a similar reaction.
Lanus Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 Fand could boycott the game and instead watch the games in the pubs then maybe after hold a positive demonstration outside the ground to show the players and manager that we still support them... or something. but i think something has to be done and fast before this t*** ruins our club. whata f***ing c***.
dalennie Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 seems to me, hicks is on some sort of power buzz. this could get very messy
Lanus Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 I think it should get very messy otherwise its going to be a slow and and painful demise of our club. I'm not settling foot in anfield til this t*** is gone.
9emfire Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 (edited) Jr: hey pa, i went to the bar like you told me to to try spin some pr but instead they threw lager at me and it hurts my man-b bs bad (sobs) Sr: no worry sonny!!!!, i'll tell them all who's boss and maybe they'll wise up Yeah, that's at least what i think it is ....backlash think the only way is to show the fekkers who the real bosses are. or at least...they can be a boss to an empty stadium. Either way I ain't letting them put nose-rings on me for them to pull. Edited February 28, 2008 by 9emfire
Archangel Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Hicks may be unpopular, he might be upsetting alot of people by refusing to sell his shares but to say that he's dragging us through the mud is a bit melodramatic
Cobs Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Hicks may be unpopular, he might be upsetting alot of people by refusing to sell his shares but to say that he's dragging us through the mud is a bit melodramaticyou wait til Sjefke logs in...
Michael Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 If he had no intention of selling he would not be talking to DIC. Anything he says to the media should be completely ignored.

growler Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 just a note, that season ticket holders have already paid, and so he has their money. he also has the money from TV. so not going to game only hurts the fans and the players. Same with most of the merchandise with the money already in the bank from the sponsors etc. The reality is, we are pretty toothless in what we can do to hurt the club.
New York Red Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 There's plenty that can be done but people need to have the b*lls and the discipline to do it. Don't spend a penny on the club. Go all out to suspend any economic activity with every one of the clubs sponsors, get everyone you know to do it and let the sponsors know about it. Loudly. It's all a matter of organization. Hammer the sponsors with your thoughts. Send them letters and emails and DON'T SPEND THE MONEY. He can only hang on for so long and if the real value of the club plummets, then it's only a matter of time before he folds.
SkippyjonJones Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 exactly - he's playing alpha male and swinging his b******s.. the only way to stop him at the moment is to kick him in the nads financially to make him back down.
New York Red Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Right now the club is absolutely nothing but an investment to him. He may as well have bought a bunch of Exxon stock. I've started to send my emails and my boycott has been in effect for about a month now. Obviously it's token but if enough do it...

floyd Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 The news is, Hicks pops his head above the parapet to reassure fans, that he’s still a cvnt.
Benitez Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 he deserves his own smiley, i imagine it looking something like this: :sjefke3: that's a fecin great smiley
