sean Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 bearing in mind what's been going on of late. I hope we give a performance similar to that v Juvé in '05 when we went at them from the first whistle. I think Rafa acknowledges that's the way to get at the Italian sides bar Milan who would be a lot cagier in Europe than the others. Come on you c****!!! I think we can beat them by a goal tonight and hold them to nil all at the San Siro.
Caligula Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I'm not nervous. Just a little pessamistic. I really hope I'm wrong, but it's going to take a huge turn around in form just to avoid a battering. Come on lads, prove me wrong!
Des Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I feel unusually relaxed about the whole thing. Might feel differently come 7.45 though.

Guest PaulMcC Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 For some reason I'm not that nervous. Maybe nerves will kick in when i get to the ground.
Huyton_Red Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I am really looking forward to it Cant wait First goal is vital, if they score first it could all go banjo
honourablegeorge Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 First goal is vital, if they score first it could all go banjo Aye, no way back against Italian sides if they take the lead....
Woodsyla Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Aye, no way back against Italian sides if they take the lead.... The way Inter are playing at the momenty I think we are finished if we don't take a lead over there. I just hope the real Liverpool turn up tonight. The one that harries and chases and ties to get he ball down and play football. 90 mins of a Juve 05 performance could see us with one foot in the quarters, anything less and it will be a long three weeks till the San Siro.
Kahnee Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I am really looking forward to it Cant wait First goal is vital, if they score first it could all go banjo If they score first, it'll be Moores' fault
Chili Palmer Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I'm the opposite, this is the first time I haven't been nervous about a match for months, we are at our lowest at the minute, we can't really go any lower, if we lose to Inter its not a massive shock is it? struggling to beat Havnt, losing to Barnsley were! I've wrote this season off as a nightmare so anything we do now is a plus! come on!!!!
Bailo Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I'm not nervous so far, really confident we'll hammer them. Though I'm sure I said this before Barnsley.
Guest RedLegend Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Not nervous at all really. Don't expect us to get through over the 2 legs so a win would be a nice bonus. Get a result tonight though and I might be more nervous when we go to play them at their place.
Magic8Ball Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Not bothered about the football a Liverpool team will always play their heats out on occassions like this. I'm more bothered about losing a good manager and falling further behind. The Americans have destabilised the club and maybe on the verge of handicapping it
MFletcher Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I am absolutely convinced we're going to win 6-0 tonight. I have no idea why, I'm just convinced it will happen.
Hassony Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 If they score first, it'll be Moores' fault If we win, it will be despite Rafa
jimmylibel Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I'm having difficulty worrying too much about the actual football at the moment. I'm sure that'll change once the game kicks off but really my enjoyment of everything on field this season (admittedly there hasn't been much) has been completely soured.
Kahnee Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 If we win, it will be despite Rafa But of course
Tobes Rafa Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I had a dream last night that we won 4-1 with Lucas Leiva scoring all 4 goals! I'll not be the only one ignoring it completely rather than run to the bookies with a quid no doubt.

Guz Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I'm loving it to be honest. Personally I think we'll just lose out over 2 legs but this is the european cup, knockout stage, anfield tuesday night against one of the best sides in Europe. These are the sort of games we live for. If you're not buzzing by 7 o clock then I dont know whats wrong with you.
Hobbsie Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 If we win, it will be despite Rafa I hope thats a joke
Hassony Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I hope thats a joke Did you see a smiley anywhere?
