Sol Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Trying to buy back the fans on their side. It's the last throw of the dice!
Paisley Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Trying to buy back the fans on their side. It's the last throw of the dice! Are we that stupid?
ulsterRed Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Maybe till the end of the season if we go out of CL? Maybe DIC want G and H to do their dirty work for them?
San Diego Red Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 I'm not sure. I'd be a little f***ed off if Rafa was sacked for Dalglish. Would he really win us anything?
stressederic Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 I'm not sure. I'd be a little f***ed off if Rafa was sacked for Dalglish. Would he really win us anything? I'd be more then a little f***ed off.
Guest GrandpaSimpson Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I'm not sure. I'd be a little f***ed off if Rafa was sacked for Dalglish. Would he really win us anything? I'd be very surprised if he did.
Bao Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I think Kenny would find it very difficult to bring success on the pitch. And he'd probably still wheel out Gary Ablett to play in central defence too. But I'd love him to have a role at the club. A place on the board as a voice for 'the Liverpool Way' and all that. Parry provides absolutely no link between new outside owners and the club's traditions and the aspirations of the fans. Kenny would be perfect for that.
Hugh Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Reappointing King Kenny would be a huge mistake.
fyds Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 It's not going to happen, so I wouldn't worry.
Red_Rob Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 If this does come to pass, I fully expect us to change our home kit to black and white stripes and be done with it.
Gomez Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Love Kenny, but he's not a modern manager. If true (I doubt it) show even more the incompetence and huge gap in the knowledge of G&H
Tosh Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I think Kenny would find it very difficult to bring success on the pitch. And he'd probably still wheel out Gary Ablett to play in central defence too. Parry provides absolutely no link between new outside owners and the club's traditions and the aspirations of the fans. You know this how? Wasn't it Parry that was key in stopping H loading ALL the debt on to the club? And so the slating of Parry continues....
Falconhoof Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Nobody knows if he's a modern manager. Who the hell knows how he would adapt to the game since his years out? He's won the Premier League, he's won the title at 2 clubs, you don't lose that understanding of how football is played and how to motivate a team.
owenthomas Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 It's not going to happen, so I wouldn't worry.not as manager i would hope, but Kenny's "desperate to get back into the club" is my understanding..
gkmacca Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 G and H have probably looked at the huge success Keegan is having at Newcastle and decided to emulate that. It makes perfect sense. For them.
sutty Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Right now I know it would be a mistake. If he ever did come back, I would be delighted to see him back managing this club again I'll get my dad to ask him. He's watching the game with him tonight CLANG!
