Dirk is absolutely medicre, can't see him lasting. Average at everything except finishing.

It must be more than that, and if they aren't playing for the manager, why not ? He bought them, coaches them every day and guides their careers. Should he sell them all and start again ?

Manager isn't blameless, but I could name 7 or 8 jokers who are sponging off the club at the minute. Possibly more. These are players with big reputations and ego's. Crouch hasn't been given a fair run, but does he look remotely arsed when he does?

Crouch has belived the hype that he is actually a world class player, and he doesn't work as hard as when he first joined the club, at least Kuyt always gives 100%, despite being s****!

 

Riise is another one (that i have supported in the past) that seems to be running through the motions now, probably thinking the only way he will stay at liverpool is if a new manager comes in

 

I would like to see more from our captain as well, he should approach every game like he did the second half against Milan

The team put out on Saturday was easily good enough to beat Barnsley. We get knocked out so people blame the manager. People then blame the players for under performing, then blame the manager again for playing / buying them in the first place.

You have to wonder why Sean. Are they being coached to play the way we are ? Maybe the players we had in the 70s who were the best in the world would have got pissed off with the tactics, selection and emphasis on work rate over quality. Most teams dip when they lose confidence in their managers methods.

No problem with his selection for Saturday, for Christ sake the reserves should be good enough for that lot, with the Inter game on the horizon. I'd blame Parry if I could but I don't think he sought out Voronin or Kuyt.

I agree that our priority is to improve uin the final third, but the defence has looked shakey all season as well. Carra just seems to panick every time the ball comes close to him, Finnans positioning seems to be a bit off as well, thank god for big Sami!
