mofus77 Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 On my way to Dublin on the M1 on Thursday evening, cruising along at a reasonable pace of 90-95mph in a 75mph zone and I got the dreaded flash from a roadside speed camera. It's a fair cop, I was speeding, made bed, must lie in it etc, etc.... However I've a question on how those things work. Because I was on the motorway I wasn't the only car in the photo, there was two cars in the inside lane, with myself in the outer lane, who themselves where doing about 80-85. So that means there was two, potentially three cars in the shot. Can the speed camera differentiate between the multiple vehicles in shot and accurately report the individual speeds of the cars involved ?
