ynwa.tv Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Down Memory Lane Meet the Referee Double Agents
baz2107 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Itandje Finnan Carragher Skrtel Riise Pennant Gerrard Alonso Benayoun Babel Crouch Subs: Reina, Hyypia, Lucas, Kewell, Torres/Nemeth Get it won first then make the changes, theres no point going into the Inter game with fresh players who have no confidence after losing to Barnsley. If Torres is fit give him 20 at the end to give him a bit of match practice for Inter
Guest Snorky Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Each game as it comes, now is the time to start picking stronger teams in the FA Cup. This cup is our last realistic chance of a trophy this season.
Stevie H Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 This cup is our last realistic chance of a trophy this season.it's not though is it?
Bailo Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I'm really looking forward to the next few games. Haven't felt this positive in a while.
The_Adder Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Each game as it comes, now is the time to start picking stronger teams in the FA Cup. This cup is our last realistic chance of a trophy this season. Thats a bit negative considering our record in the last three years in Europe, we now have arguable a better squad. Yes we are struggling in the league, which can be put down to a s***load of things but in Europe over two legs we are a match for anyone. Chin up son.
Hassony Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I'm really looking forward to the next few games. Haven't felt this positive in a while.Me too, I think we have turned the corner and we will have a cracking end to the season
Sion Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Say we get past this tie and play the mancs in the 1/4's, will Rafa stick with Charles in goal?
Hassony Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Say we get past this tie and play the mancs in the 1/4's, will Rafa stick with Charles in goal? I don't think so
Guest Snorky Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 it's not though is it? We have a better chance of winning the FA Cup than the CL in my book.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 This cup is our last realistic chance of a trophy this season. Strange that, we've been to 2 CL Finals in the past 3 years and only 1 FA Cup Final..........I'm slightly confused
Rory Fitzgerald Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Itandje Finnan Carragher Skrtel Riise Pennant Gerrard Alonso Benayoun Babel Crouch Subs: Reina, Hyypia, Lucas, Kewell, Torres/Nemeth Get it won first then make the changes, theres no point going into the Inter game with fresh players who have no confidence after losing to Barnsley. If Torres is fit give him 20 at the end to give him a bit of match practice for Inter I'd pick Reina. If Arbeloa is fit, I would give him 60mins or whatever he can handle so he can play vs Inter. Agree with midfield. Hope, hope, Kuyt gets the nod and Crouch sits it out to rest vs Inter
Hassony Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 We have a better chance of winning the FA Cup than the CL in my book. that doesn't mean its our only chance of winning a cup though does it
Sion Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 We have a better chance of winning the FA Cup than the CL in my book. I'd say it's about equal, as if we meet Chelsea/Arsenal/United in either we're probably out, no other clubs should worry us.
Cunny Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 (edited) Skrtel is injured apparently. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N...080214-1352.htm SKRTEL INJURY GIVES RAFA HEADACHE Jimmy Rice 14 February 2008 Martin Skrtel is a major doubt for this weekend's FA Cup clash with Barnsley after picking up a calf injury in training. The news comes as a blow to Rafa Benitez, who will now have to decide whether to risk the returning Sami Hyypia. With Daniel Agger still recovering from a metatarsal injury, it could also mean a place in the squad for Spanish starlet Mikel San Jose, who was on the bench at Chelsea last Sunday. Gilps Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Dont play either Carra or Sami for this one Might not have a choice if Skrtel's out and Agger isn't ready yet.
Guest sniffer Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I've lost count of the number of injuries incurred while training. Can't remember it happening in the days of Shankly and Paisley!

Bailo Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Assuming Skrtel is out: ChazArbeloa---Sami---Carra---Riise Pennant---Alonso---Gerrard---Babel Crouch----Kuyt Subs: Reina, Finnan, Nemeth, San Jose, Yossi
