Guest Kaizer Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Jesus, does this mean Kuyt up front against Chelsea?
Bo Benn Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 wonderful stuff this, can't wait for the Chelsea game trying desperately to spin this positively; it might force the rest of the team to pull their f***ing socks up
alias75 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Typical of our luck at the moment, think Babel has to be his direct replacement though if its serious.

alias75 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Redwire said: Babel has also come off early for Holland. oh well, think it was going to be 1 up front against Chelsea anyway, just now it'll be Crouch or Kuyt instead of Torres
Cunny Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/...p;TEAMHD=soccer Quote Liverpool striker Fernando Torres lasted just 23 minutes of Spain's international friendly against France on Wednesday before being replaced after suffering what appeared to be a right hamstring injury. It was not immediately obvious when Torres sustained the problem, but Spain coach Luis Aragones was quick to replace the frontman with Daniel Guiza when it became obvious he was struggling. Liverpool, who are away to Chelsea in the Barclays Premier League this weekend, will be keeping their fingers crossed that the injury to Torres - their top scorer with 18 goals in all competitions - is not serious.

CaptainXabi Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 This is not good. Kuyt/Crouch is a decent pairing though, should Rafa decide to use it. Either up top on their own isn't going to give Chelsea too many problems.

Think Babel had a knock which is why he came off but i dont think it was too serious.
Guy_Incognito Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 He might have just felt something and been taken off as a precaution. If it was a competitive game then he might have been alright to stay on. Yeah? Yeah?
Swipe Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 b******s. If we play one up front out of Kuyt, Voronin or Crouch we have no chance of winning against Chelsea.

Dont think it would be too bad with Crouch as long as we get numbers around him (Gerrard, Benayoun, Babel) think theres a good chance Rafa was going to play 5 in midfield for this one anyway.
Guest Kaizer Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 (edited) Its all Snorky`s fault, I think the mockering Gods played a trick on him here the other day. Not good. Edited February 6, 2008 by Kaizer

Rimbeux Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 If it's hamstring, that's a month easy. The only hope would be if it was cramp
