Luis has been in and out the team, a lot of sub appearances. They have Reyes, Simao, Forlan and Aguero in their attacking positions to compete with him, so they have been sharing the games around these 5 quite a bit (nice 5 players to call on though aint it)

Delighted for him, one lad who genuinely deserves his call up to a national squad list. From being an unheard entity when we signed to being one of our most consistent players, Alvaro Arbeloa is right up there as one of Rafael Benitez's best signings.
