Guest Snorky Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Just spoken to Ant and he says everything is going really well, all the websites that attended have agreed to work together. It's still going now, but no doubt as people get home etc there will be more posts.
Roscoe Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 (edited) is there any link with the people who want to organise an attempt to buy the club? any dialogue between the 2 'groups'? Edited January 31, 2008 by ocrate

Stevie H Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 certainly sounds interesting anyway. not the bit about ant buying blue WKD, but the other stuff.
Guest Snorky Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 He said the whole evening was a brilliant success with plans agreed for action.
Guest Snorky Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Posted on RAWK before. Tonight - The Sandon Pub. Very good start. A working party was established and we'll be leafletting at the game on Saturday to outline exactly the Americans financial deceits. A protest is to be held at the end of the game for a minimum of 15 minutes. The protest is against G&H and their lies and their intention to burden this club with a huge debt. It was agreed to fully support the team during the 90 mins of play. Protests/Picketting of the Club shop(s) was also agreed as the first step to hitting the cash flow and making LFC less of an attractive proposition to G&H. A press release/public statement will be available in the morning. Excellent turnout (back room of The Sandon was FULL) and all groups were represented. Although I can't remember the RAWK rep? Did you send anyone? All other major fan websites / fanzines etc were represented, along with match-going groups. More tomorrow.
smicer07 Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 15 minute protest? Is this after the full time whistle?
Gomez Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Protests/Picketting of the Club shop(s) was also agreed as the first step to hitting the cash flow and making LFC less of an attractive proposition to G&H. Could not agree with this less.
Guest Snorky Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 15 minute protest? Is this after the full time whistle? What part of 'At the end of the game' never hit home
Gomez Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 What part of 'At the end of the game' never hit home If we play like we did on Wednesday, the game could be over by half time.
Guest Snorky Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 If we play like we did on Wednesday, the game could be over by half time. true.
psl Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Picketing? What happens to people that try and go in the shop?
Red2Core Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 (edited) Picketing? What happens to people that try and go in the shop?Smack them deal out a good few shoeings. Edited January 31, 2008 by Redzion
Spike Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 I have no idea on what a protest at the end of the game for 15 minutes will achieve. Most press will be focussing on getting their copy out. Most of the money folk would have f***ed off behind glass walls to get fed and hammered. Honestly, who is going to give a f***. You need maximum leverage and maximum exposure. You're too open to the agenda of the day's results taking precedent.
Spike Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 another aside, and yes, I know it's easy for me being a keyboard warrior but we have RTK, LFCSN, and now LSU. All bringing the likes of RAWK, YNWA, TLW, and RAOTL together. Can't it all be under one umbrella? We seem divided in ourvery unity.

They aren't going to dictate, they are going to be a buffer for fans who want a voice, if the majority want this then they will try their upmost to organise it.

Parry & the press will have fecked off and the telly cameras will be off. And won't picketing the shop not only make the club less attractive to G&H but also potential new buyers? And OUR profits - not G&H's. The profits we need to make to repay the £30m a year interest. Burning effigies is the only way.
