johngibo YPC Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra is on a collision course with the club after demanding a £120,000-a-week contract. Evra currently earns about £36,000 per week but wants parity with the club's top earners before he commits himself to a new deal. (Daily Mirror)
sutty Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I might go and demand 120k a week from my bosses
Hassony Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 of course there is no chance that the daily mirror is making that up
RP Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 He fancies himself doesn't he? 120 grand a week??? (I am talking about Sutty, of course)
johngibo YPC Posted January 29, 2008 Author Posted January 29, 2008 of course there is no chance that the daily mirror is making that up i knowi just choose to believe it
Hassony Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 i knowi just choose to believe itfair enough then reminds me of the time that i managed man u in CM98, sacked all their top players, i offered all their remaining reserve players a 50K a week contact for 5 years, resigned and saw them get relegated to the 3rd division
matty Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 After getting bum-f*cked by Aaron Lennon on Sunday he should think himself lucky he's got a job.

Guest Prongsy Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 fair enough then reminds me of the time that i managed man u in CM98, sacked all their top players, i offered all their remaining reserve players a 50K a week contact for 5 years, resigned and saw them get relegated to the 3rd division Surely it's worth getting the game just for that.
ManxRed Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Surely it's worth getting the game just for that. It'd be even better if you could find a real-life top flight manager who hated them enough to do that (for when Fergie's liver eventually packs up in a few seasons from now).
RP Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 He doesn't get out of bed at all now the stock market's gone down the pooper. Why would that make any difference to me?

RP Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/joke Some degree of accuracy or relevance is surely required in order for it to qualify as this, no??
Stevie H Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 it pains somewhat, but i think that evra might be about the best leftback around at the moment. i don't know who's all that in italy maybe, but he's the best in england at present.

Maxwell for Inter is the best there is. Don't know how Zambrotta is doing atm but he was my choice as best left back for the last few years.
