More than three in four Liverpool fans subject to a survey carried out via fanzines and fan websites would consider withdrawing their financial commitment to Liverpool FC in future should the club remain in the hands of US businessmen Tom Hicks and George Gillet.

the anti-Hicks and Gillet protests at games is majorly counter productive to our players in my opinion can't we just support our team and the protesters find other ways to get their message across.

Count me and my ST in. The only thing G&H understand is money and we have to demonstrate that we are serious about hurting them financially. It's more important to fight for the long term future of the club that worry about not supporting the team for 1 game. If we don't do something now then in a few years there won't be much of a team left to support.

they are set to announce the refinancing tomorrow.. The only way to get thsi deal to fall through would be a mass boycott. If the banks got a sniff of this then it would end all talk of a new loan and DIC would be able to jump in and buy us.

 

Sorry but I tihnk it's too late. I think we're gonna be under ownership of these t***s for as long as they want. A boycott after the deal is announced is useless too as they'd simpy sell players to make the payments if really needed...

yes he could still be bought out but he would have the decision to sell or not if he is given financial security.. if the bank were to hold back on the refinancing deal and they couldnt pay the old one back, then the bank would own the club. Which is where Dubai would step in and buy us from the bank. The team needs investment, not debt.

 

if we had the new stadium built now, we'd be able to make repayments and invest in players.. but until then it's gonnabe pretty dull.
