Ratters Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Who would it be I know that the big 4 like to have a proven manager which would normally mean from abroad but lets say you had to choose from the preimer league which manager has achieved success that you think could be moved on to a big club.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 those would be bleak prospect indeed.
Guest Si Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 ive never seen a sentence span the entire topic header and message body.
Ratters Posted January 14, 2008 Author Posted January 14, 2008 Wenger or Ferguson, the rest is dross. Ok perhaps i should of said they had to have a chance of saying yes. Its not all dross some managers might just need the right club to take over. Although I would agree on being a risk but isnt it always a bit of a risk.
Gomez Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Alladyce. Oh, no sorry, you mean currently managing. ;-)
Ratters Posted January 14, 2008 Author Posted January 14, 2008 (edited) David Moyes Would piss off Everton but he seems to be good one season crap the next but perhaps i am missing something. But this season with a worse side by far he is on the same points as us so cant be all that s**** not sure on his style being ok for top 4. Edited January 14, 2008 by Ratters
trowie Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 The man I want as the number 2 to Raffa Gary Mac
Ratters Posted January 14, 2008 Author Posted January 14, 2008 The man I want as the number 2 to Raffa Gary Mac hmmm didnt to to well at coventery did he ?
Guest Prongsy Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Ramos. Wenger and Fergie are not obtainable, Ramos is the best of the rest.
Ratters Posted January 14, 2008 Author Posted January 14, 2008 Ramos. Wenger and Fergie are not obtainable, Ramos is the best of the rest. Although he did good in spain the jury is still out for me. We all know that doing well in Spain doesnt mean you going to win the PL easily.
Guest SpiritualWarrier Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 The man I want as the number 2 to Raffa Gary Mac Thats the newcastle fan coming out in you. We need nothing sentimental, we need someone who can galvanize the team. My number one choice would be Mourinho, but in the context of the question it would have to be Moyes.

His whole strategy involves being the bullied kid who loses his rag one playtime and freaks everyone out.
Hassony Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Ramos and Sven are the only ones (apart from wenger and mourinho) who might be able to do a job
pipnasty Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 f***ing hell - thread like this are f***ing s****. 'Isn't it terrible that the Yanks spoke to Klinsmann, the bad knobs - but I personally think that a move for Steve Bruce would be a good idea.'

It would be interesting to see how many posters have managed to suspend their wish to see a change in the management now that the owners have stated that they considered a change in the management.

Nobody really pays attention to the kneejerkers to be fair...

It's mind boggling, isn't it? I think it was you who mentioned how different the response may have been if Mourinho had been named instead of Hicks too. Or somebody did anyway.

I understand your point but wanting a new manager doesn't mean that you want Rafa treated badly. I'd imagine every poster on here has a great deal of affection for Rafa given everything that he has given us. Even if somone considers that a new manager may make us more likely to be league champions (I stress that personally, I'd like Rafa to stay) I'd imagine that seeing Rafa publicly undermined like this brings a defensive side out in all of us. Its like being annoyed by a member of your family but still reacting with anger when you hear somone else slag them off.
