Been open right around a year now, decided it was time to give an update for the 2 people who are interested.

 

Just got awarded one of the Top 5 restaurants in Memphis by the local newspaper, apparently that's a big deal. Still not making any money but very close to breaking even, which is about a year ahead of projections. Still trying to teach people how to say "bruschetta".

 

As a bonus the company I left a year ago to open the restaurant - the same company that despite 10 years of loyal service tried to make a legal issue out of me opening my own place - has seen their stock price go from $32 a year ago to $6.10 today. Loss of $10 million last quarter, down 10.8% in sales, bloody loving it.
