Does anyone still constantly watch it ?

I find myself flicking to it every now and then, but to be honest I could probably live without it.

I don't have Setanta so don't see it at all.

To be honest though, I don't really see the point of the TV Channels. They don't provide anything you can't get off ceefax, SSN or the internet just as quickly. They don't show live games, and if the LFC replays are commentated by Steve Hunter, then I'm just as happy to miss them.

Don't have it myself but watched a bit when I was home for Xmas and anytime I caught it it was just re runs of games this season which doesn't interest me at all to be honest. Youth coverage and reserve games are good I suppose but they're just as easily watched over the web nowadays while you could also podcast any sort of news shows IMO.

its a half hearted effort at best. quite apt for the current office :hmm:

they should do some in depth shows and behind the scenes stories.

imagine something like "A Day Out Shopping With The Alonsos" or "Gerrard Goes ToThe Bank."

those kind of shows will have the viewers tuning in.

Watched it a bit when it first started, but don't watch it at all now. Slightly too amateurish for my liking.

pretty much my attitude to it

one thing i don't understand is why they don't do a post match analysis after every liverpool game, MUTV do it, LFC.TV stays off air!

Not sure how long after the match it is, but they do an analysis program

Watched a lot initially but it's amateurish to be honest about it! Would like to see post match analysis. I do sky+ the reserves and watch them at my leisure which is enjoyable and informative about the lads coming through. I'd like to see U18s and other youth stuff .. even if only well edited highlights. So much more could be done with this facility ..

If you don't have SKY it's great. You get to watch 90 mins as live coverage of every single game with analysis after it. Granted it's a day later but if you've been the game on Saturday spent the weekend in Liverpool then Sunday at 6pm is a great time for a re-run.

It's great value for money

Yeah watch it for the reseves and youth games.

There is not enough focus time on the academy and the reseve commentary I find a bit hyper critical. A lot of the reserves are at the moment youths and still in a stage od developing and yet the commentators are so critical when they show their inexperience, and also show a bit of bias towards some players.

Amazing watching the games from the Evans era.

Used to be frustrated as f*** watching them at the time and I know they are only showing the best games but the football is a joy to watch.

Free flowing back and forth.

It would help if the programmes they list were actually on at the times they are listed for. I tuned in for 60 minutes with Gary McAllister last night and they had Rushie on instead. Not a bad substitute mind :)

Yeah, that pissed me of as well.

I dont understand what people expected of this channel though, it was never going to be compulsive viewing from start to finish was it ? But it is worth watch from time to time - Brian Reade bringing up the subject of Sean Dundee to Roy Evans last night was quite funny...

Also, the fact that it does have 'fans' (Dave Kirby, Nicky Alt, Dave Usher etc etc etc) on these programs is good I think.

I think it's okay. There's loads of good programmes about the old days, one in particular was the brilliant Cup Kings 1986 that they showed over Xmas. Nobody can really expect it to be absolutely perfect from day one and on that basis, I think they've done really well so far. One major plus is the steady stream of new content, something the other football channels took a long time to get round to (at least according to my MUTV subscribing mate).

I think its not too bad to be honest. I wasnt expecting much better. I tend not to watch the full re-runs of games, id rather just see highlights. The commentary on our games pisses me off aswell, really annoying. I was expecting a bit more behind the scenes stuff, like training sessions and that. Thought the john barnes show was good when it was on, and alot of the other interactive programs, and analysis programs arent too bad. I agree though that at the moment it is a little amateurish. The background music pisses me off, real cheap low budget s****. Im like most though, tend to flick over every now and then, but wouldnt sit for hours on end.

My son is a researcher for them. I think that they took time to settle in and they have improved a lot latley. They are trying to come up with new ideas all the time some of them sound realy good and fun to watch. I can say this about them they all work very hard to try to get the content as up to the minute as possible. I like the fact we have Liverpool players and fans talking about us. I enjoy This is Anfield and think it has got a lot better as it has gone on. I think that they do try to be as balanced as possible with the people who phone in and do try to talk about the issues we all want to talk about i.e Raffa and the owners. I know their are a lot of repeats but I am glad of this as I tend to watch it mainly during the day apart from This is Anfield wich I like to watch live. It is a new channel and I think that it has improved and can only get better. I loved The John Barnes show and hope that comes back. I also like the 10 top goals.kop kings ect. i can watch these over and over
