Stevie H Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 have to say i'm quite looking forward to watching this tournament. however, is adidas taking the piss with the official tournament match ball? http://www.cafonline50.com/?lng=1&cmpt...mp;idnews=82240
Hassony Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 the african cup of nation is always disappoiningly boring, with team canceling each other out I hope one of the arab nations win it this time again
Stevie H Posted January 9, 2008 Author Posted January 9, 2008 I'm going i heard. jammy get. how about that match ball though? think it's f***ing hideous and will probably be camouflaged against the cameroon kit.
sutty Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I'm looking forward to the tinly veiled racism from the commentators.

Des Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I'm looking forward to the tinly veiled racism from the commentators. There's bought to be a drinking game in there somewhere. Commentator mentions "naive defending" = 2 fingers Etc...
AntM Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I shall post as many "just back from the match" Big Wayne-style reports as I can...
sutty Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I shall post as many "just back from the match" Big Wayne-style reports as I can...If they are truly to be Big Wayne reports... Just got back from the match and I've got to say Nigeria were s***. What the f*** is the manager doing playing Obi Mikel there? He needs to be at least 10 yards further forward. And where were the substitutions? Too f***ing late as usual. I know I'll be slated for this but he's going to cost Nigeria the best chance we've had of winning the African Nations Cup for years, and it'll all be down to you Vogts

sutty Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 There's bought to be a drinking game in there somewhere. Commentator mentions "naive defending" = 2 fingers Etc... That example you used there would have you drinking about 18 pints a game
Stevie H Posted January 9, 2008 Author Posted January 9, 2008 'a lot of energy if little technique to their game' = 2 fingers.
AntM Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I wouldn't go to Ghana if you paid me.eh? what's wrong with ghana??
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 "raw attributes""strength and speed""the sheer enjoyment of the game"
Kahnee Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 "Colourful characters" = a pint and a shot, downed in one
AntM Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 "they might look good now, but they wouldn't fancy a cold February night in Middlesboro"
sutty Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 "they might look good now, but they wouldn't fancy a cold February night in Middlesboro" To be fair, who does?
stressederic Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 "Colourful characters" = a pint and a shot, downed in one Beat me to it.
nvdm Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 eh? what's wrong with ghana?? The entire region is a basket case - "The armpit of Africa" as it's known. To be fair, Ghana's probably the best out of a horrible collection of holiday destinations up there.
