Yeah i think it just depends who you get.

I remember someone telling me they were told they couldn't buy tickets so phoned up from outside, chose to collect them, and picked them up from the girl who had refused the sale 10 minutes ago. Crazy system

i had a similar issue tying to buy them once and had to phone up from outside to buy them. they then posted them out

with tales like these, you have to wonder if the ticket office has ever heard of "customer service."

 

it was like this in the 70's, 80's and 90's and come to think of it, they probably have the same miserable old gits working there now.

 

asking for 4 tickets together in the 70's and 80's was harder than getting an audience with the Pope.

 

they must feel that they are doing you a favor, letting you pay them money for a ticket.

 

they probably just blame the computer system for everything.

If they refuse just do the whole 'don't you know who i am, i've been on sky news etc...', bound to work.
