Leo No.8 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Look out for this lad as he has signed for City on loan; it hasn't worked for him in The Ukraine but I've seen him play a few times and I think he's got the potential to be really, really good. He's lightning fast and a great finisher; I'm sorry we weren't interested to be honest - I prefer strikers with pace (as long as they don't have a touch like Cisse) and I'd have moved one of Voronin or Kuyt along to make space. Think he'll prove to be another astute Sven signing...
Captain Chaos Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Totally agree - couldn't believe when I read City had got him on loan!! Excellent player!!
galés rojo Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Good player, questionable attitude could go either way. He is very talented mind.
Guest Snorky Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Same here, I would have liked to have seen him in a Liverpool shirt.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I discovered him in FM some years back as a young starlet, nurtured him into an ace player. 20 in pace too.
Rimbeux Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Were we in for him before we withdrew from transfer for six weeks?
Raj Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Were we in for him before we withdrew from transfer for six weeks? Don't think so. He moved from Olympiakos to Donetsk in the last transfer window. I think it was really surprising move, as he was attracting a lot of attention after his excellent performances during the last Copa America. Apparently, he has paid for half of the loan fee to move to Man City too.

Obviously really = Feeder club.

Richards and Petrov on loan for the rest of the season would be good. We'll give them Leto and Hobbs to get experience
