The reason we are playing on Wednesday is that we played on Sunday and were given the option of moving back our next game by 24 hours. Us and Manchester City took up that option as did Derby and Blackburn Rovers who also played on Sunday.

 

We are kicking off at night because 2nd Jan is not a Bank Holiday.

 

Bolton Wanderers v Derby County had already been chosen as the live game.

Maybe Babel. But Torres looks like a rest would do him good and tonight and Luton are the best times we'll get all season (EDIT: apart from March onwards when all our games will be meaningless - Negativity Ed). Dump Crouch in the reserves of the reserves of the reserves until he fecks off to Citeh and play Kuyt and either Babel or Voronin.

 

If DK or AV can't score against Wigan and Bramble they ought to be proffered up for post-match on-pitch hangings. In fact, feck it, it can be the half-time entertainment. That said, Bramble has had some nightmares against us but also some games when he's been their best player.
