Morse Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Liverpool: Reina, Finnan, Hyypia (Benayoun 54), Carragher, Riise, Babel (Kuyt 72), Gerrard, Alonso, Aurelio, Torres, Voronin (Lucas 90). 1.2.3. Thanks.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 This is a toughie... 1. Gerrard (For pulling us out of the s***)2. Torres (Pretty anonymous today but proved his worth with a cracking goal)3. N/A
Hieronymus Bosch Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 AlonsoGerrardTorres (purely for the goal)
Stevie H Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 alonso, gerrard and carragher were the only three players who really turned up today.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 alonso, gerrard and carragher were the only three players who really turned up today. Pity Torres never.
Stevie H Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Pity Torres never.his goal was good but he did nothing else. disappointed with him today, he's far better than that.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 his goal was good but he did nothing else. disappointed with him today, he's far better than that. He did his job. You're right he's better than he was but he can't be awesome every week. His goal was class though.
micmij Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 (edited) 1. Alonso2. Gerrard (for the last 10 minutes)3. Torres (for the goal) Edited December 26, 2007 by micmij
Kite Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 1. Alonso2. Gerrard (for the last 10 minutes)3. Torres (for the goal) Same here: Alonso was the only player to play over 90 mins consistently well. Nice that Gerrard woke up just in time to make an impact, acknowledged, and Torres goal was sublime, equally acknowledged.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 AlonsoGerrardTorres (purely for the goal) Exact same for me
_00_deathscar Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Alonso for being consistently good throughoutGerrard for getting us out of the s***Benayoun for making things happen at the end Torres' goal was class, but did little else.
David Hodgson Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 I was at the game and Gerrard looked washed out for 70 mins , and then sprang into life. Benayoun's contribution in the same last 20 was just as signicant. Xabi gave us a great hour, but faded sharply (understandably). The rest were very disappointing (Carragher aside).
shanks59 Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Too complacent again, at a real push: 1. Gerrard after they scored2. Torres for his goal3. stuck
