Guest Ant Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 I'm suprised their hasn't been a banner in the Kop or something, even if it gets taken down I'm suprised, given our 'wit' regarding banner making that we haven't come up with a gem. Something like... "We are Dic Heads, Parry is a dick head"....
scoose Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 right look - i am neither positive or negative about parry - can someone please explain to me "with evidence" why he is such a "percieved" s****hawk?
Rimbeux Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Think he's a distraction to the real issues, maybe complicit in creating them, but not the issue.
DonRafa Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Threads like these are just fecking childish! Ant is a child, carn't you tell?
Guest Ant Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Threads like these are just fecking childish! It's a serious question, normally when someone is doing something wrong you use propaganda, and what better way to do so then to create a monster flag.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 it would be the topmost of idicocy to start making banners based on hearsay.
Guest Gaviscon Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 I haven't got a problem with him. Most, if not all, will have had no first hand dealings with him and are just jumping on the bandwagon.
Guest Ant Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 it would be the topmost of idicocy to start making banners based on hearsay. Is it really hearsay though? I was very sceptical, but talking to different people all with abit of information I've come to the conclusion Parry is as bad or worse than GG + TH. Too many sore bums on the fence if you ask me, I have come to realise that the media, Bascombe and Usher aren't getting their stories from their own arses and the fact is something is happening. There are wheels in motion in the fan base of LFC and I am suprised such action hasn't taken place sooner because Parry's antics have been going on for a few years now.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 show me anything substantial about Parry that would merit making a banner. I stopped reading all the gossip and reactions to it about the owners, parry, rafa getting the sack etc basically ever since we beat besiktas and it's been great. In my bubble, it's been business as usual. Only thing that has changed since besiktas, as far as I can tell, is the content of the rumour of the day.

Have you ignored the fact that Parry got the Americans in? Also answer me this, why are such stories being printed?, it isn't just one, it's tens of stories.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Have you ignored the fact that Parry got the Americans in? No. I have factored in that it's only according to hearsay that they aparently are the worst thing ever to happen to the club. What I know is that they backed rafa financially in the summer. look focused on getting the stadium built, have had a small bustup in the press with rafa and that's about it. There's a wide range of interpretation to take from that depending on what unsubstantitated views and rumours you listen to. Anything from them still being ambitiuous about investing in the club and having reconciled their differences with rafa to rafa getting no funds, klinsmann replacing him, no new stadium right now and btw they are also pulling out to the highest bidder. At a glance, the rumours don't sound too credible. Most sensible businessmen tend to resolve issues sensibly. Also answer me this, why are such stories being printed?, it isn't just one, it's tens of stories.
Guest JV Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 We want DIC wadWe already have 2 that own the club.
Guest Ant Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 No. I have factored in that it's only according to hearsay that they aparently are the worst thing ever to happen to the club. What I know is that they backed rafa financially in the summer. look focused on getting the stadium built, have had a small bustup in the press with rafa and that's about it. Thats about it? It was Parry's job to get someone in that could both finance the stadium and fund the squad. So far they have done neither, and have only funded the squad the same way David Moores could of done. Benitez is fustrated with the owners and he took the ultimate action and made it known to the public, something must of happend for him to do that. GG + TH have came in and said it was a small bust-up, but they would say that. Something is happening and the fans need to take action, something I believe will happen sooner rather than later. Parry came out and said that in time the 'reason' why we sided with the Yanks over the DIC would become evident, what is this reason and when will it become 'evident'.....
Guest Gaviscon Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Did Parry actually have much say so in the takeover business? Wouldn't it have been Moores and his advisors making most of the decisions?
Guest Ant Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Did Parry actually have much say so in the takeover business? Wouldn't it have been Moores and his advisors making most of the decisions? Based on everything that has happend with the club since Parry has been here it was Parry doing the leg work, and finding the investment was no different. Moores just supplies the money, granted he has input but in regards to finalising transfers and many other issues Parry dealt with them Remember who was sitting next to Thaskin Sinawatra in Thailand a few years back?
