I keep pinching my arm every time I see him score a goal. Thank f**k we managed to get this kid to sign for our club.

21 games, 1332 minutes played for Liverpool and 14 goals so far and he's just arrived, don't speak much of the language and everything is still new to him. Total different class about this boy. His natural ability, his pace, his technique. Just watch him out there today and you're speechless :applause:

Rafa today:

”We looked good and created a lot of chances. But then we got a little bit nervous against a team with a very good away record.

"Torres, though, is always a threat. Not only that he makes room for our other players.

"He has a good mentality and experience. He uses his ability and pace to hurt defenders.

"When you have a team like ours behind you it is easy for someone like him to get chances."

Harry Redknapp:

"Torres is a top striker, a fantastic player who is at another level."

I have never been so attracted to a male. He is turning me gay.

My wife is crazy about him... really loves him... and I don't care, now what's that all about ;)

I tend to like dark haired guys like ....mmm Xabi, for instance, haha! but for Fernando I'll make an exception

Seriously, the thing I really like about El Niño is that he's tough and brave. I loved the way he stood up to John Terry in his first game at Anfield. He does'nt let defenders bully him, in fact he seems to relish the argy bargy of the English game

I'm going to eat his face after.

Not to badmouth any of the other strikers at Liverpool, but he is on antoher level compared to them.

he is on another level to 99.97% of the strikers in the world

He's incredible.

The way he finishes with the sidefoot, his explosive acceleration from a standing start and the way he runs at incredible pace with the ball at his feet remind me of Henry in his prime.

This lad must be one of the best strikers in the game already, and his attitude and professionalism are fantastic so he'll almost certainly keep getting better.

Steady on.

He's got all the talent in the world, but his brain is still a bit clunky or something as far as I can see. When it starts working smoothly for him on a regular basis it'll be fabulous.

Imagine how good he'll be with a partner thats even close to his quality. At the minute he's almost playing on his own, but its fantastic to have a striker that can make chances for himself.

aye, two strikers who can make chances for themselves and each other. *drools*

I honestly feel that really good partner for Fernando should be our first transfer priority come January. That one striker could be the key to us still challenging for the title this year, more so than buying another CB cover or a winger or two.
