Apparently Rafa is working hard to secure two bosmans in January.

 

Anybody have any idea who they could be? Is there a list anywhere of players running out of contract?

 

I know Flamini is one but doubt we'd move for him.

There was a Brazilian left winger playing for CSKA that was mentioned, don't think the link was anything more substantial than a Wikipedia comment though.

He's signed a new contract innit?

Is that Carvalho ? Think he signed a new contract last week, was on here or I imagined it.

 

Ah yes, here its on his Wiki, albeit badly edited;

 

"In November 2007, Carvalho signed a new contract with CSKA until summer 2010, according to CSKA president Yevgeni Giner[1] (or until December 2009, according to CSKA Press Office[2]), with the option of further prolongation[2] and the minimum fee release clause[1].

 

Daniel Carvalho has also been strongly linked to Inter Milan on a Bosman transfer in the January transfer window."

The other besides Carvalho was Kahka Kaladze from AC Milan wasn't it?

watching the Italian football on the weekend for the first time in ages (Lazio v Juventus) and the commentators said that the Lazio captain (played centre forward can't remember his name) hadn't been tied to a new contract and was free to talk to other teams in January. They couldnt belive that had been allowed to happen, can't remember the guys name but he had a very good game up front on his own.

 

Just checked and his name is Tomasso Rocchi looks like hes played for Italy this yearbut hes 30 years of age.

Yes, we have no idea when Agger is back, we are short one central defender already and this Xmas is going to be punishing for Sami. It wont happen because we wouldnt want to offer both long contracts but we are crying out for someone of that ilk so Carra and Sami can be rested once in a while !!!!
