Zoob Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Wasn't a pen. He mis-controlled it straight onto his own arm, and it wasn't even like it was preventing our player from getting the ball. Even though some of the pens given against us have been unlucky, think even United playing at home would have struggled to get a pen out of that.

Maldini Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Was he offside for the goal? From the replay it looked like Reina was past him when he hit the shot

MFletcher Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 The Tevez one wasn't a handball. Carra leaned into the ball at Villa and you could see why it was given. Even I'm willing to admit that giving a penalty for that today wouldn't have been correct.

You could see Reina signal it was offside at first only to turn around and see that stupid t*** Benayoun still standing by the post. Schoolboy error from Benayoun that one.

surf Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 That's what i was thinking as well, but i think he had one foot on the line and one foot on the pitch though making it a moot point.
