(I actually thought Mascherano was below par tonight . Got muscled out way too easy for their goal, put a number of passes astray and seemed to fall on his a*** on more than 1 occassion).

How the f*** is Gerrard in some peoples top threes? I know it wasn't the greatest team performance but there were definitley 3 better Liverpool players on the pitch. He was abysmal tonight for a so called "world class" player.

1 goal & 2 assists out of a total of 4 goals must surely count for something. I was struggling for my 3rd choice, but those stats swung it for me.

But a times I though he was an extra on Star Trek and that Scotty had beamed him up. I don't know how many time Porto broke through midfield towards the end of the first half and the start of the second and I could'nt see him anywhere in sight.

 

Poor old Mascher was trying to pick up 2 or 3 players.
