Nathan Explosion Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Referee link doesn't work... I'll fix that later, when I get home....or during my lunch break, if I get one.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 It'll be a tough game this. Can't see us getting any more than a draw.
crisps Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 It'll be a tough game this. Can't see us getting any more than a draw. F**k that, isn't Rozenhal there only fit defender!? Kewell Babel Gerrard Torres should run riot here.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 F**k that, isn't Rozenhal there only fit defender!? Kewell Babel Gerrard Torres should run riot here. Even so, it'll be a tough game. I hope we win I really do, just not expecting too.
alias75 Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Martins is my main worry with his pace, but their pretty poor at the back.
psl Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 (edited) It'll be a tough game this. Can't see us getting any more than a draw. I'm feeling really confident actually, which is really unusual for me. 1-3. Edited November 22, 2007 by psl
Cobs Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 what's the point in turning up? the stupid Americans have ruined our season now, the cn*ts.
Bailo Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Felt confident until yesterday. What's their defence likely to be?
johngibo YPC Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Felt confident until yesterday. What's their defence likely to be? Whoever in the crowd brings their boots
McBain Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Can see Derek Kuyt playing in this one with Crouch on the bench. Babel and Riise wide
Bailo Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Think all this G+H v Rafa spat is fostering a siege mentality. We're gonna win 3-0.
crisps Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Can see Derek Kuyt playing in this one with Crouch on the bench. Babel and Riise wide Voronin and Torres upfront for me
johngibo YPC Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Voronin and Torres upfront for me I hope so, but would also be ok with Kuyt and Torres. And for that matter Crouch and Torres!!I just love that Fernando
McBain Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 I hope so, but would also be ok with Kuyt and Torres. And for that matter Crouch and Torres!!I just love that Fernando Crouch and Torres would be the form pick but i think Rafa will look at midweek and bench the Crouch. Cracking goal that was in midweek though one of the best he's ever scored

Knox_Harrington Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 (edited) PRESS: Knox, do you know what you will do should Liverpool lose this tomorrow? KNOX HARRINGTON: As always I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these. Have you had any assurances you'll have what you want? KH: As always I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these. What about your long-term plan? KH: Going spare. Going f***ing spare. Is there anything upsetting you? KH: The prospect of not beating these. Do you have anything to say? KH: As always I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these. It's clear something is up... KH: You have my answer. You're very different from normal... KH: You have my answer. It's clear that something is up, though. How can you focus on going spare. KH: I was preparing before this Press conference. As always I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these. It's not always possible, though... KH: Yes, it is for me. You said after the story linking you with going spare should Bayern Munich fail to win you were happy to go spare here for a long time, is that still the case? KH: As always I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these. We’re not going to tease it out of you, are we? You're not normally late for a Press conference. You were obviously preoccupied by something... KH: Because as always I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these. Is there anything you would like to say? KH: As always I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these. You always say you will go spare, but you usually give answers to our enquiries, so how come it’s changed suddenly? KH: Nothing. I'm just focused going spare, going f***ing spare, as always. You did kind of suggest to the TV people that you were open to possibility of going spare should England not win. Is that something we should treat seriously? KH: It's your decision. You never know what will happen in the future. Were you serious when you answered it? KH: I was serious. It would be dereliction of our duty not to point out that one day you say you are looking to go spare here a long time, then the next day you are saying who knows about going f***ing spare for England in the future. Isn't there a contradiction between the two? KH: The future is the future. Now, as always I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these, so I cannot say anything else. Just to keep preparing for the next opportunity to go spare. You've always said you wanted to stay here for years and years and talked about the future here? KH: That is true. So, what you're saying suggests that perhaps the future here is in question? KH: I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these. So who knows? KH: As always I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these. Are you being allowed to do that as you wish? KH: As always I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these. Does everyone associated with the club share that opinion? KH: As always I will go f***ing spare if we don't beat these. Edited November 23, 2007 by Knox_Harrington
meepins Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Oh how I look forward to the coming months where that phrase 'As always I am focused on training and coaching my team' turns up in all it's possible variations. Good times.
Redkop Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 What are the odds of him resting Gerrard today?
Benitez Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 What are the odds of him resting Gerrard today? 'resting' meaning dropping, cos he played like s*** for Ingerlund? Narr, I think SteG will play, he needs to get that s***e game out of his system and have a stormer for us. Did Mascher have to travel round the world twice with Argentina this week? If so, maybe he'll be on the bench. I hope to goodness Torres is starting, I don't care who starts alongside him!
