Billy Dane Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Surely Brian Barwick has sent in Prince William to tell him to pack his bags.
andymac Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Tonight I reckon. He deserves to go but the FA don't have a great track record of making the right decision do they?
CarraLegend Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Him coming out to the touchline with a f***ing umbrella up while tamely giving order just showed what a spineless, passionless gobs***e he is. I LOVE HIM THOUGH!!!!!!
Anfield Fox Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Brian Barwick will ask him to stay on till the 2010 world cup, renew his contract and double his wages.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 he'll resign tomorrow If he does that he'll miss out on an hefty payment from the remainder of his contract. Unless they make a deal... He'll be back at Boro before long.
Guest Linton Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Who will they appoint? The best young manager in England has got new job so he is not a possibilty. Allardyce? Curbishley? Wilkinson? Stuart Pearce? There's lots of possibilities among the fine english managers.
Benitez Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Him coming out to the touchline with a f***ing umbrella up while tamely giving order just showed what a spineless, passionless gobs***e he is. I LOVE HIM THOUGH!!!!!! the umbrella, how pathetic was that. He was concerned about getting his hair wet in a game like that? What a ponce.

RafaShanks Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Wonder if he'll get a payoff from Abramovich as well?
Tosh Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Just put this in the match trhead... So as there's been a complete an utter debacle, will the head of the FA fall on his sword or will they just let the head of that bit of the FA go? Just asking!
Guest Linton Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Mourinho would do a good job, no doubt. Would they be able to afford him though? Can't be much money left after Sven...
CarraLegend Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 the umbrella, how pathetic was that. He was concerned about getting his hair wet in a game like that? What a ponce. Was incredible. One of the most f***ed up things I have ever seen in football, the worst bit was he was clearly struggling to use his one arm to tell Defoe what to do yet wouldnt put the thing down. He's the man there to at the very least motivate players but he's scared of getting a bit of rain on him. What does that say to his players? The difference in mentality with him and Bilic was incredible.
Guest Linton Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Can you blame him using an umbrella? Who would want to destroy a nice haircut like that.

The difference in mentality with him and Bilic was incredible. Spot on. What a ponce he looked. Incredible. I'm trying to visualise Shanks with a raised umbrella at any game. Just carn't do it
5InIstanbul Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 McClaren to Birmingham Mourinho to England A shoe in.
DonRafa Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 McClaren to Birmingham Mourinho to England A shoe in. I would'nt want Mourinho, he's a prick. Was sick & tired of seeing his oily gob in the media ad infinitum. His ego's too big for such a small island as ours
CarraLegend Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 mcclaren has just said he won't leave Of course he wont, otherwise he wont get paid off
Romario Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 England need Stuart Pearce. Might as well go full circle after Keegan and make the same mistake again and then blame the foreigners again.
DonRafa Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 mcclaren has just said he won't leave Then he shoud be sacked. Tonight, if not sooner
CarraLegend Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 I'd be amazed if Mourinho took it. He's already said he doesn't want it and no tournament for 2 and a half years is a hell of a long time to wait for the chance to win something. His ego probably loves the thought of a World Cup but not no trophies for 2 and a half years.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Then he shoud be sacked. Tonight, if not sooner How do you get any sooner than 'Tonight'
koppper Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Its the FA who should be sacked - they have no balls at all. The newspapers told them to pick McClaren or fat Sam and they didn't have the guts to make their own choice. You would have thought that experience of playing teams from other countries (and occasionally winning) would be quite an important skill for any England manager to have....the FA clearly don't agree.
