Gooner Spy Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Hello, I appreciate this is a bit of a 'piece of string' type question, but I was looking for more rough guidance than specifics from the wise old owls that frequent this forum. I have lived outside the UK for a while, but am moving back to London shortly, and am a bit out of touch with London prices/strength of the price etc. My question is this: If you take out all fixed monthly costs from your budget (Rent/Insurance/Phone etc), take out a generous sum for grocery shopping, would £450 p/m be sufficient to live relatively comfortably on? I am a 28yr old single guy, so like the odd night out. What do the assembled experts think?
