Romario Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 only joking. Quality quality stuff. Everyone was class. Special mention for Benni who put in a 9.5/10 Arbeloa and Auriello got time as well as Kewell and we broke a record. If Carlsberg did Champs league games... hang on...

They were poor but we took advantage. We made them look even worse. The passing was crisp, accurate, innovative and complimented by excellent movement off the ball. The last 110 minutes have been thoroughly enjoyable. Typical that we have one more match then a fecking International break.
Stevie H Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 three goals two good assists from benayoun, against any opposition that's brilliant.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 three goals two good assists from benayoun, against any opposition that's brilliant. Stop being so positive, I have a pain in my head now
TheLa Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 three goals two good assists from benayoun, against any opposition that's brilliant. He was f***ing superb. Pleat spouting the arl cliché about how difficult it is to pick a man of the match for us tonight. It's f***ing easy; Benayoun, out-f***ing-standing.
Romario Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 three goals two good assists from benayoun, against any opposition that's brilliant.Agreed. He was sheer class.
RafaShanks Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 I know the opposition wasn't the best, but great team performance and pleased for Crouchy, Benayoun and Babel in particular. A special mention for Benayoun, who was feckin amazing tonight. Lets hope Rafa sticks with him on the right for the next few games (instead of playing Stevie there).

If there's no knocks, stick with the same side.
Swipe Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Masch was brilliant too. Another good performance from Stevie and a great game from Benni. Same team for Fulham, please Rafa!
RafaShanks Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 If there's no knocks, stick with the same side. This is Rafa we're talking about.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 If there's no knocks, stick with the same side. ......and if its not too much I would like to win the Lotto
TheLa Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Same team for Fulham, please Rafa! b******s! Carry on rotating. Riise and Voronin out, Finnan and Babel in.
Stevie H Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 'Benanoon' was great.why can't he pronounce it? why?

TheLa Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 why can't he pronounce it? why? This is David Pleat we're talking about. Jones is a difficult name for him to say.
Swipe Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 (edited) b******s! Carry on rotating. Riise and Voronin out, Finnan and Babel in. Forgot about Voronin! Yeah, would maybe replace him for Saturday. Edited November 6, 2007 by Swipe
diggy Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Stop celebrating...Dunphy said there is nothing to take from the game. Benayoun a useful player but wouldn;t get into a great team ie United, Arsenal or Chelsea in his eyes. Apparently its down to his lack of Upper body strenght, you need to be a weightlifter now to be a striker. Dunphy is waiting to bum Souness, looks for his agreement in everything he says. Apparently, we done to the turks what Arsenal did to us two weeks ago Accordingly to Dunphy. Its really Little Britan material some of the stuff they come out with. Beyond caring at this stage, watch it purely for the entertainment value.
gkmacca Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 We've only starting scoring eight since Pako left - there must be a connection.
The walters step over Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 three goals two good assists from benayoun, against any opposition that's brilliant. He was outstanding today, and I thought Kewell looked lively - I know the game was over but it was good to see two of our players confident enough to run at the oppo at try to take on their man, it makes such a difference to us and creates a lot of space for the forwards. If we can get Kewell fit then him and Yossi in the same team is potentially very exciting.
Guest GrandpaSimpson Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Stop celebrating...Dunphy said there is nothing to take from the game. What he say about Arsenal vs S. Prague the other week?
Runehammer Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 It's all well and good putting 8 past Besiktas but we really should be scoring double figures in these games, we should be looking for more negatives I feel or we'll have people starting to wonder if perhaps we aren't as crap as we are supposed to be.

That Aurelio misplaced a pass. Break his left leg.
