What's a good result in the Marseille v Porto game?

Other than them both fielding 12 men and getting thrown out of the competition. Does a certain result in that match ensure we'll qualify IF we win our three remaining games?

Besiktas beat Marseille (at Besiktas, so very possible)

If Besiktas beat Marseille, which i think they will, we could afford to draw with Porto and still need the same result from the final gameweek. That's why it was good Marseille lost tonight.

 

Porto play away to us and Besiktas at home, possible they won't pick up anymore points, thus meaning if we beat them on agg (so that's 1-0, 2-0 3-1, 4-2 win etc.) we'll only need to draw at Marseille.

this is the uefa rule so looks like 2 wins , but i dont think porto will be this easy

I see the logic in what you saying were earlier though - opens up the possibility of two teams to slip up to let us in instead of one.

Sounds like it. I thought it would go to ET if it was 1-0, but obviously not.

Does that statement mean the number of goals scored away by the teams playing against each other or across the whole group?

 

So eg 0-1 1-0 Results would be the same number of away goals scored so goes to point d), which is why that 8-0 scoreline could be important. A 0-1 2-1 would put us through?
