I hope we play five of your front six against Blackburn, assuming Mascherano won't make it. I don't want them running their legs off here.

 

Neither Hyypia nor Carra should play either.

 

I'd start Lucas but if he's playing well he should be dragged after sixty and saved for the weekend.

id agree that either hyypia or carra shouldnt start, problem is..with so many injuries, we are struglling for any backup....arbeloa for example can cover at center back, but we seriously lack bk up at full back..

 

Think rafa will have at least some experience at the back and once agger is back, hyypia is likely to be benched again...so the more games for him, the better....and wouldnt he look at it the same way?!?!

 

Its only october.......hyypia doesnt need to be rested

We brought Pellegrino in three seasons ago because Hyypia couldn't do three games in eight days any more. He's now three seasons older. He's not likely to be sharper is he?

 

He'll probably start Hyypia after I've said this.

well we dont have much of a choice...and carra looks more of the boil and needs a break than hyypia does.

 

We are in october, sami has maybe played 10 games in total??......im sorry but if he needs a break already , then he shouldnt be at the club, 34?35 cant remember how old....but for a center back...c`mon he should be fit

Hyypia should not be playing. Seriously. He couldn't do it the season we won the European Cup. Carra looks like the very definition of a player brought back from injury too quickly.

He's got no sharpness. None. It's not physical fitness, running hard etc., it's sharpness. Do you remember how bad Pellegrino was? Do you? Why was he getting his game? Because Sami couldn't keep doing it every week. Sami was murdered by Anichebe physically. If I was Mark Hughes I'd be rubbing my hands together. Old centre halves drain and they do so fast and publically. Bergkamp could be carried because one moment of perfection from him meant he could create the winner. Sami needs to be perfect for 90 minutes every week.

 

We need to f***ing beat Blackburn. That's the priority, not this poxy game we should be winning regardless.
