ynwa.tv Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Down Memory Lane Meet the Referee Double Agents
The_Adder Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 decent referee. Some one said that last week and that turned our pretty well didnt it
Guest chabby Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Really up for this game. If we can come out of this and the Blackburn game with a couple of wins, the doom and gloom cloud should disappear, at least until the next draw. With Pennant out we could see Gerrard on the right more often, or even Babel. Think for this game, though, it will be Benayoun. .............ReinaFinn..Carra..Hypp..RiiseBena..Xabi..Momo..Babel...........Gerrard............Torres
Rory Fitzgerald Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 decent referee. Him and Clattenberg are the best IMHO.
anfield11 Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Him and Clattenberg are the best IMHO. Let's hope he's as good at penalty calls!

Guest chabby Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 I thought of Crouch but for me his attitude has stunk lately. Also with Pennant out there's no one threat from wide areas.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 I thought of Crouch but for me his attitude has stunk lately. Also with Pennant out there's no one threat from wide areas. What attitude is that ? The 'partnership' of Kuyt and Voronin has been an unmitigated disaster and I would like to stress the word unmitigated ! As some people have said in jest, Rafa must have caught Crouch in the scratcher with his missus because the lad deserves a chance. Not because of what he has done in the past but because what Kuyt and Voronin clearly dont do in tandem. Dont mistake this for a slaughtering of Kuyt and Voronin, they offer the team good options but only in combination with a striker that poses a threat i.e. Torres or Crouch
Guest chabby Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 His general attitude. Too busy with his book deals and image to buckle down, work hard and perform when he's had the chance. Wednesday, for example, he couldn't even bothered getting ready to come on, while muttering something in the direction of Rafa. He'd do well remembering who brought him here and and transformed his career.

He came on and with pretty much his first involvement played a fundamental role in our goal.

To be honest, the only place I can try to sum up a players attitude is on the pitch and then to a lesser extent, in the press. Crouch has not played too much so I cant say his attitude stinks on the pitch and whilst I dont attach too much weight to press speculation, rumours have been very much absent. I'm not sure if you exprapolate from the fact that Rafa is loathe to play him at times but if your basis for judgement is the same as mine then I think you may have erred IMO
Mullah_Owen Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 How long is Aberloa out for? My team for Saturday would be Reina FinnanCarraHyppiaRiise Mascherano SGXabi BenayounBabel Torres
Mullah_Owen Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Oops... Here it is again How long is Aberloa out for? My team for Saturday would be Reina Finnan Carra Hyppia Reina Mascherano SG Xabi Benayoun Babel Torres
abuusayd Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 What about Lucas having a start in the middle if Gerrard plays on the right? If Fabregas can start then why not Lucas.
Mullah_Owen Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 What about Lucas having a start in the middle if Gerrard plays on the right? If Fabregas can start then why not Lucas. Maybe because Fabregas has two years premiership experience compared to Lucas' 2 months.
Tommy Cockles Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Given the complete absence of form of any of our CM (though SG showed signs in the derby & Turkey) Lucas is not a bad shout. Really is a must win tomorrow. The Mancs have got that sickening win-every-f**king-game vibe about them, the horrible c**ts. If we can win it would give Arsenal a kick to beat the Mancs the following week. Oh why am I bothering, we're not going to win the thing. **weeps silently**
Guest chabby Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 We heard you the first time. Maybe suicide is an option.
