this Patrick something guy (some bookie) on the football preview show here in singapore said sg and rafa have fallen out again? he also said steve mcmahon was crazy to even think we could beat arsenal on sunday....

Now Jol has been sacked the media are setting their sights on Rafa, the pressure is going to build and build, especially if we don't win on Sunday.

Everyone needs to get behind the club and stick together.

Only in England (or Madrid) could a manager be under pressure for his job when he is managing a team that is undefeated in the league this season. f***ING INSANE.

They've got Avram Grant to target too.

Reading around the media, I'm not detecting what you say. Sure there are a lot of inches, we've just lost a vital game and this is a massive season for him. To distill it all down, the line from the hounds seems to be that he's got to do big things in the league this season or he may come under next summer. Yep some fans have decided they dont think he's going to go all the way to a title here, but it's hardly Rafa out demonstrations. With the team playing as it is, of course there will be this attention.

Snorky's only just started though. Wait until him and Ant crank up the campaign a notch...

I mean even the suggestion that he should be under pressure when hes unbeaten. The guys has such an amazing record for us in Europe etc (and lets not forget he got our biggest points total in the 'prem league' since it changed it name, even though I think that means ballsall). Strikes me as nonsense, but I guess they need to fill the pages with some s****, and thats exactly what it normally is.

Grant is obviously a short term appointment and there is not much currency for the press there. Plus he is actually getting some decent results at the moment.

Yeh it's going to be personality based and sensationalist, that's the way it it over here. But even if it was serious discussion of tactics and performances there would still be a lot being written, it comes with the job.

How about Moyes....if the Bluesh*te lose at Derby, that will be priceless. And, it could happen.
