NR - I didn't get to see the whole game but from what I did Mascherano looked as solid as ever

 

It is no coincidence they scored down the middle soon after he went off - shades of Athens?

 

I venture to say that just about every goal we have conceded this season with Mascherano on the pitch has been a fluke goal (Robinson clearances, own goals).

 

Mascherano does not need ANYONE calling him out for a lack of effort.
