End of the footie season here… mostly.

However for my boys team (U12) they may have play a bit longer. It’s a recreational league so the teams are picked at random – my boys team have lost one game so far – and that was due to a last minute offside goal (not that I’m counting…).

 

Anyway they now represent the league in the city wide tournament this weekend. 3 games Saturday (30 mins a piece) for a mini league and the top 2 face off against each other for the title game on Monday. Winner goes to the state competition…

 

Going to be tough going! Good job they have a decent coach..

 

Anyway – add in my girls early morning game this weekend and it means I miss the derby and some of the Rugby. Not so happy about that!!

 

If they do get to the state finals then I’ll miss a day trip with a bunch of mates to the Casino as well. Selfish bloody kids…

Haha… now that’s something I can’t do. Luckily, being a rec team, the kids are placed onto sides at random. Which means that there are a few good kids as well as my boy…

well 0 they didn;t win the city cup - but were still invited to enter the state u12 championship.

 

played in the group stage today.

 

Played 3, won 3 for 8 against 1

 

 

onto the State final next week. One full game for the championship.

 

 

Great weather for it - chucked it down all day - it was brilliant...
