he just didn't look right as a manager with an earpiece

he looked like he worked in a f***ing call centre. what the hell are they talking about and who to with those f***ing things?

Leo must be gutted, if they get a decent manager they might just escape relegation

On a slightly related topic, did anyone see the Swindon -Liverpool game from 93 on LFC TV the other night?

 

Long 'highlights' included a shot of the Swindon dugout during a quite moment. The camera focuses on it, the phone inside the dugout rings and Gorman picks it up and shouts "Hello, who's that?". There is no noise from the fans and it echoes around. Who did he think it was?

Sorry to hear you're out of work mate :(

 

However I hear Danny De Vito may be looking at present so I'd get your CV in...

 

Could see all this with Bolton and Sammy Lee panning out even before the season kicked off which was why I tipped Bolton for the drop. Allardyce's were big, fat, arrogant shoes to fill; I couldn't see Sammy being able to make that ugly system (which had served them so well) work, or be able to get as much out of the limited playing staff trying to play more adventurously.

Was Sammy well liked and respected by the players when he was coach. If so he could be a good fit as Rafa's right hand man. I'll just be happy not to see him have to go through those excrutiating post match interviews. Where he says "As I have said before" 10 times.
