The atmosphere is much better now since the 1892 block has been put in place. i have to say that RTK have done every Liverpool supporter proud with the way the Kop is so much better now than it ever was. they should have reclaimed it years ago, and i hope that they achieve their aim of getting a song started before the season is over.

They certainly outsang the Spurs fans on saturday. :hmm:

Oh didnt you know ? All the OOTs were there that day and took all the tickets and all the season tickets too!

they are good, until they are told to sit down. then they start shushing people in there block as if to say "if we cant stand the atmosphere will be s***" which makes me wonder why there is a game of football? is it to watch and support your football club? or is t for them to attend and have a sing song? cleary its about supporting your club. so when they are told to sit down, they should remember that they are there first and foremost to help the lads on the park and do what i do, sing and shout just as much even though i am sat down.

non of us like sitting down, but its no reason to spit your dummy out.

apart from that, i think it has helped alot.

so, because they have to sit down they are discouraging other people from singing? thats fantastic. well done all involved in that.

I'd say it's done more to prove a point.

Do the club want an atmosphere or not?

I can't sing sitting down personally and when I do, I end up standing up half way through the song.

Singing and standing go hand in hand.

what point is this? that they are special and should be allowed to stand because they are RTK? i'm well aware that its easier to sing standing up, but if everyone in the ground followed the attitude of this elite band of RTK fans, we'd be the laughing stock of the league.

Sitting and watching football also go hand in hand these days too, i'm sure you know why.

If that's genuinely what's going on then it's pretty lame, isn't it?

When they went to the club originally did they say - 'move us all into the best seats in the centre of the Kop, let us stand and we guarantee you an atmosphere, make us sit down in some sort of crazy conformity to Health and Safety regulations and you can f*ck right off'?

i bet £5 of Wayne's money they didn't.

Is there any more singing from the Kop this season vs. last?

I only manage to get tickets a few times a season, so I guess I'm not best placed to say, but I'd say not from the times I've been. Sitting or standing it's still an awesome place to be, and at the risk of going all gooey-eyed, I and my boy remember every trip we manage to make, and the Kop is a big part of that memory. Overly romantic, I know, but there you go.

the first game v Chelsea I thought was good...it got worse half way through the Derby game when the b******ings started being handed out and they started the whole "All the stweards are in the wrong stand" s***

there is defo an ego trip going on with some of them, and they really need to go back to trying to start the songs off again

also.......I am all fro trying to get older songs going, but to be honest there is no chance of getting some of them going as only a handful know the words...so it might make them look good, however it is actually making the atmosphere worse

only my opinion like

The chip on your shoulder?

Nope, none of the tribal nonsense about oots ruining games makes a difference to me.
