Watched "This Is England" and "Sunshine" today

Both films by acclaimed British directors, Danny Boyle and Shane Meadows.

 

Heard mixed things about Sunshine, but decided to give it a go. Thought it was utter cack.

 

More disappointed by This Is England after all the hype. Loved Dead Man's Shoes (one of my fave films ever) and just couldn't get into it. Even grew up in the same era (under Thatcher) and the film didn't do anything for me.

 

Anyone else seen either or both?
