I'm going to Milan with some mates next weekend for a mates stag do, and part of the plan was to take in Inter V Napoli. Online ticket sellers want thirty quid for the cheapest seats, but checking the inter website they say the cheap seats are twenty euros! Am I right in thinking we should be able to get tickets when we get there no problem?

Thanks!

Yeah it'll be fine, you might need I'D with you but thats about it. They should put them on their website over the next week or so anyway so you could just order them and pick them up.

Should be good that, Napoli will take 1000s there.

You will need ID as each ticket has to be matched to a person i.e. 4 tickets means 4 different passports. You also have to have the ID that you use to buy the ticket with you at the match.

I would imagine you'll be able to get tickets no problem.

The game is on the 6th (Saturday) if you didn't know.

Thanks for the replies guys. I did try to do the online booking from the inter website, but the game isn't listed yet. Is it possible to reserve tickets through that and pick them up on match day?

Failing that I think we might take the chance and just get them in Milan. Do you need to go to the stadium ticket office or are there resellers around the city?

Thanks again!

Im sure you would be able to get tickets at the stadium from the tickets office unless it has changed now..

Went a couple years back to Milan and thought go watch a game, Inter were playing Parma and we had no problems gettin tickets at the ground.

Just be advised not to carry and lighters with you cos for some reason there take them away from you as you enter in the ground and you dont get them back.

The reason you're not allowed lighters or any other "worthless" objects is to prevent you from throwing them. Put your lighter in your shoe. Don't carry anything you don't want confiscated cos it might happen when entering the ground.

Yoy can buy tickets in Milan here (from their offical site).

New sales point: Box office, Feltrinelli Books and Music, Piazza Piemonte 2, Milan. Box office open 11:00-14:30; 15:30-19:00 from Monday to Saturday.

Just to confirm that Napoli fans are banned from this fixture so you will have absolutely no problem getting a ticket on the day of the match even. However I suggest you go to the address above, before matchday though, to ensure hassle-free queueing and ticket purchase.

Going to watch Roma v Napoli in October. First time I've been to Rome so bought tickets online as a mate said it was incredibly difficult to get them at the ground.

When we went there the ticket office was 4 tiny little holes in a wall, just shove your email confirmation in with your passport or whatever and thats that. Should be a quality game that and atmosphere providing Napoli are allowed to bring their supporters. Do you know what stand your in?

Me and a mate were in something like row 63 and with an athletics track we thought the view would be woeful but it was brilliant.

For some reason, the Inter tickets online are rarely available. Since the Catania incident last year they seem harder to get. Still, you should be able to buy them in Milan at the weekend, as people have said above.

Give yourself plenty of time to get to the stadium too. Try to arrive at Lotto underground about 60 minutes before KO. It takes about 20/25 minutes from the city centre. It's a 15 minute walk to the Meazza, you can try to get on one of the buses, but they're usually too packed. Then you've got to find your gate, and probably walk up to the top tier, as well as finding your seats.

And have a piss before you go inside. :)

Nice to see a Bologna fan on here :)

I've always had a soft spot for Bologna but it's been hard to keep up to date since their relegation (they don't get much coverage in Denmark) :(

I've seen a couple of games via TVAnts, but I lack the overall impression. Are the team good enough this season to win promotion? I don't know anything about the "Allenatore" either?

Cheers mate, we're in the Curva Nord as it was the cheapest one!

Quality, it looks mental in there aswell. Curva Sud is Roma's Kop sort of thing but the Curva Nord has the away fans right next to it so if Napoli are allowed to bring support it'll be quality. Enjoy mate! Just watch out for the objects flying through the air :D

Just taken this from Inter website:

MILAN - Tickets for this coming Saturday's Serie A match between Inter and Napoli (Stadio Giuseppe Meazza at 20:30) are available for purchase at branches of Banca Popolare di Milano (BPM) and Banca di Legnano (BdL).

Important information for fans:

- no tickets in the section for away fans will be available for purchase

- there will be no online ticket sales

- a strict 'one ticket per person' rule will apply (valid ID document to be presented when making purchase)

- it will not be possible to transfer ownership of match tickets to a third party

- ticket sales at branches of BPM and BdL to end on Friday 5 October

- the stadium's ticket offices will remain closed on matchday

If that means what I think it means, you'll have to buy tickets from the stadium on Friday (tomorrow).
