Guest Sabre Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 He had the s*** kicked out of him tonight and still scored a hat trick. Loved his second goal - just pure brilliance and improvisation.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Torres is a ferrari of a striker - speed, power finesse and good looks to boot. Watching him play it's clear how much we've lacked a good super car up front. Think I've found my new favourite player, tbh.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 He's f***ing awesome. He's a star, major f***ing star.
IgPig Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 I'd be honoured to let him take my missus up the back passage
Rahul Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 (edited) Immense player. Legend in the making. Edited September 25, 2007 by Raz
Shirohana Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Top, top player. He's got everything you want in a striker.
Lee W Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 I'd be honoured to let him take my missus up the back passage He'd be on the bench in our household for scrappy seconds.
Mike Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 I'd be honoured to let him take my missus up the back passagehahaha
Ripley Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Certainly the best CF display since Anelka v Newcastle and maybe even a while before that.
Conor Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 I'd be honoured to let him take my missus up the back passage Now if that is not an endorsement of the lad's quality I don't know what is. Let's hope he doesn't read this forum or You'll be sleeping on the couch tonight.
stressederic Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Certainly the best CF display since Anelka v Newcastle and maybe even a while before that. You're having a laugh, if you think you need to go back that far to find a comparable performance.
Paul B Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Sell him now and cash in. Can't even get in the team half the time!
mattster Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 The lad has got everything, he's Ian Rush, King Kenny, Michael Owen and Robbie Fowler all rolled into one!
Eiler99 Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Yea that rest he got on saturday really paid off today. God bless rotation!!
Barnesy_10 Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 You're having a laugh, if you think you need to go back that far to find a comparable performance. aye, Crouch against Arsenal last season was pretty special.... not just for the goals either.. Torres was incredible tonight.... Bikey just didn't have a clue what to do... Even a tired Torres is still full of more energy than alot of players have in the first 10 mins of a game..What gets me is his strength.... incredible really... loved it when 3 of their players had to go after him and he still won a free kick. YNWA Torres... 6 goals in 9 games...? not bad at all.
Ginu Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Hopefully he becomes an undroppable player in the spine of the team now. I don't think Rafa can keep him on the bench when he's finishing like this. How many goals is that now? 6 or 7?

That's the one I was thinking of. Owen had a few more as well before he left. Regardless, that's not to detract in anyway shape or form from Torres performance which was just sensational.
