Giving Hobbs a run out next to Carra or Sami is one thing. Bringing in San Jose or someone at the same time isn't going to happen.

I wouldn't be surprised to see JC play, Rafa has hinted that some of the first team will have to play. I'd agree it is very risky though.

 

I think playing Riise or Arbeloa would be suicide and you'll learn more about whether Hobbs is ready to cover for the first team by playing him alongside JC or Sami, than you will alongside someone he is realistically unlikely to play with.

 

If JC does start, you'd think he wouldn't play the full 90 though.
