New York Red Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Schuster throws a wobbly (not a big surprise). Real make some crazy proposal to Rafa and he leaves. Would you want Mourinho as the manager? Could you live with it?
muleskinner Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 The owners would have him on the interview list.

muleskinner Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Lick my Dirk said: Well his next JOB!! "I'm 44 and I hope I will have many years in English football. I love English football," added Mourinho. However, Mourinho did say he would like to return to England in the future, admitting: "I think sometime I will return to coach in England."
DazzlaJ Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Mourinho said: "I will come back and manage here, but I don't want it as my next step - it must be another country, another experience, another football." So he is saying his next job won't be in England. That's what I was trying to say in a pissed sort of way
Bo Benn Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Curious how he would perform with a club on a smaller budget. Even though he had a very talented squad at Porto one must admit that winning the CL with a Porugeese outfit these days is quite an achievement. But would he make something out of say Newcastle's squad with a few additions?

He probably would make them a better team but he is a t*** who would probably still bring up the semi final goal on the Jeremy Kyle show.
billybunter Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 give mourinho the england job, that make things a little more interesting

_00_deathscar Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 No - Capello, or if he could be tempted for a few years, Ancelotti (who'd be my preferred choice).
fyds Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 I would take Mourinho - outside and shoot him.
Andy-oh-six Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 I'd take him only if Sam Allardyce wasn't available...
guernseygareth Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 steve coppell is a scouser isn't he?

sutty Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 I'd be happy being despised if we were winning the league

Swagger Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Typical NYR thread I would be devastated if Rafa left, but, yes, I would take Mourinho. For all his arrogance and big mouth he is still a very good manager, one of the best around.
Sion Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 I would want Mourinho nowhere near our club. Same for MaloudaNeither have any chance of happening. Why do people start these threads?
