ynwa.tv Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Double Agents Down Memory Lane Meet the Referee
Rory Fitzgerald Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Apparently Agger broke his hand last night for Denmark. I know he has played before with a bandage but what about plaster ?
Falconhoof Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 We are carrying a lot of knocks now.Finnan has an injury, Carra is not long back in training, Agger broken hand (if true) and Sami has played a lot of games for club and country. In midfield we'll be almost forced to play Alonso and Momo. Gerrard looked fatigued last night, he was trying passes that he just couldn't manage. I'd give him a couple of weeks rest. If we get 3 points then it'll be a great result.
Stevie H Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 agger came off after 28 minutes for denmark. he needs to man up.
Guest Snorky Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Agger can play with a broken hand providing the cast does not constitute a danger to himself or others. Failing that, the middle of our back four could be Alonso and Arbeloa........

I'm not sure but maybe 2-3 weeks in plaster and out of the game and then back with a bandage and strapping ?

Boca Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Lineker in '86, Di Canio more recently, played with lightweight casts on their broken hands.
Dan Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 is this confirmed? f*ckin twice this has happened now isn't it?
CarraLegend Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 is this confirmed? Nope, every Dane infact seems to be saying he was taken off just incase he got another booking and ended up missing the Spain game
Guest Anders Honoré Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 He did not break his hand. If he did, it has miraculously escaped the Danish media. Here's what he said after the match: "I was maybe... I don't know.. Chocked. It's never fun to be taken off after 25 minutes. I understand the decision, but I just wanna play football." He was taken off because had a yellow.
Guest Snorky Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Ah, another broken hand mystery. Where is Scooby when you need him.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I'm sure someone has played in a light plaster before.Thats really the question I was asking, is there a form of plaster that is not a danger to another player but yet sufficient protects Agger - good to hear
Rory Fitzgerald Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 what about voronin's injury? Pipe down, nobody cares about him because he was free
Guest Snorky Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 what about voronin's injury? They managed to find another hairband and he continued.

cymrococh Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Thats really the question I was asking, is there a form of plaster that is not a danger to another player but yet sufficient protects Agger - good to hear I remember Litmanen playing with a plaster.
Cobs Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Fowler used to play with plaster on his nose every match
Rory Fitzgerald Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Fowler used to play with plaster on his nose every match Gascoigne said he played the best games of his life when he was completely plastered.
