These are s***...

Maybe, but it's these games we've normally slipped up against.

We've rarely slipped up at home against lesser sides under Rafa have we?

Not as much as away, but still too much. Portsmouth a couple of times, blackburn, brum just of the top of my head the last couple of years. And that's forgiving him Everton and Charlton (last game of the season)

OK, we might not have lost, but dropped points against poor teams at home is something we must not do if we are to challenge for the league.

all teams drop points at home over the course of the season. I think our home record last season was as good as anyone's

We had the 2nd best home record in the League last season, 1 point less than Utd had and better than the team who finished 2nd. Theres f*** all wrong with us at home and you're talking s**** about the challenging for the League bit. Utd finished 21 points ahead of us despite only being 1 point better off at home, it's obvious where the problem is and its not dropping points to s**** at home occasionally like Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal all do aswell.

Reina

Finnan Hyypia Agger Arbeloa

Benayoun Alonso Mascherano Babel

Torres Voronin

Frikkin 'ell, talk about squad depth, that team will tear Derby apart twelvety-nil.

If they play anything like they did versus Spurs, i'll be disappointed not to get into double figures. They are absolutely terrible. Their defence is shocking and attack is just full of fat arses like Howard whose main tactic will be elbowing us. They'll be out to kick us off the pitch, especially Torres. If Fernando can get the better of them he'll have a field day. I'd play Voronin upfront with him as he's a bit of a tubby. Reading a Derby forum they're all prediciting massive losses. They'll play like Sunderland did versus us, but worse.

latest on derby mood from bbc

1306: Chairman Peter Gadsby is playing down expectations at Derby. "The indications are that it could be another frustrating day for the club," he has told the club website. "To date we have had numerous offers rejected for the players Billy Davies has targeted and, similarly, we have rejected many offers made on our players."

not really trying to focus on the positive is he? rafa or parry would tow the party line of some discussions, probably nothing further this transfer window, happy with squad. in fact rafa has said basically that. not this another frustrating day, we've made numerous offers etc. gadsby's comments only sound like an admission they know they are phucked with the squad they have. granted, parry would perhaps have better reason than peter gadsby to be happy, but you've got to try and be positive and come out fighting

They've had a fee agreed for Kenny Miller of Celtic who is apparently considering the offer.

FWIW I'm going 5-0 Torres (2), Voronin, Babel and Agger.

Does everyone think Torres will definitely start? :hmm:

Yes given he didn't play any part of Tuesday with Kuyt and Crouch playing the full 90.
