David Hodgson Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 10 days it was said after the Villa game. 2 weeks have passed. Love to see him back but I just can't see it. Dive back unto that transfer market before the window falls Rafa. PS Momo was superb against Sunderland. Doubters hang your shameful heads.
M4TTA Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 physio room reports 1st september same day as Gerrard (although they have that marked with doubtfull)
Guest Linton Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 What? I didn't know he was injured? What has happened, didn't he play for Australia just recently? What now?

David Hodgson Posted August 27, 2007 Author Posted August 27, 2007 in picolino's on friday Thank god for that.
nepeter Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 the left side is very week. kewell is gone. but i have a feeling that ronaldinho can join us if we let alonso go to Barcelona. the motivation of helping Liverpool get a title and new stadium would be a big incentive for ronaldinho plus he would fit in the hole on the left side which we need. hicks and gillet know how to structure a deal ........
honourablegeorge Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 I'm not sure which side Babel is for, but the side he isn't on is deffo weak.

Frosty Jack Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 in picolino's on friday im excited by this picolino signing, could forge an excellent partnership with a fully fit and firing on all cylinders harry kewell this season.

Does that include the Eto'o/Crouch swap?
DonRafa Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Where Kewell - a new board game coming to a store near you this Xmas!
Knox_Harrington Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Any more news on Kewell?I don't know but really feel there's much possible if we can get forty games out of him this season.
Stevie H Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 i reckon he's absolutely finished with LFC and we've moved on from him.
MFletcher Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 The guy is made of glass. We'll be lucky to get thirty games out of him this season.
fred milne Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 I don't know but really feel there's much possible if we can get forty games out of him this season.I've all but given up on us being able to rely on him for that amount of games in a season but he would be useful to have around now whilst Babel is still getting used to English football.
honourablegeorge Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 If he can't even make the bench, he's not useful at all, really. Might be best to cut our losses and get that guterriez lad in, hope that either he, Leto or Babel make the left side their own.

Might be best to cut our losses and get that guterriez lad in, hope that either he, Leto or Babel make the left side their own. The payoff from keeping him in the squad is far greater than the 2M (at best) that we'd get for selling him.
RedMarauder Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 The guy is made of glass. We'll be lucky to get thirty games out of him this season. I'll give you 25 games and raise you an Aurelio
honourablegeorge Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 The payoff from keeping him in the squad is far greater than the 2M (at best) that we'd get for selling him. He's costing about £3M a season in wages.
Rimbeux Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 He's costing about £3M a season in wages. and moving him on will change what exectly, he will still be entitled to that £3m or whatever, he has a contract. To terminate it there will have to be severence agreed, and he has every right to hold out for the lot, especially if he did'nt ask to go. There is a common misconception that if you sell a player you just stop his contract and be done with your obligations to him, not true and not that simple.
