Flasher Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Usually it starts with submitting 3 cards, I know that bit. but how exactly do they make the calculation. The easiest thing to believe is it's just an average, i.e. 3 rounds of 80 on a par 72 = handicap of 8. Thing is, i'm pretty sure it's more sophisticated than that, and ignores any scores worses than double bogey on any hole, making the maximum handicap 36. Is this correct? Non golfers may kiss my behind.
