I reckon we will go with width against Chelsea and Gerrard in the middle. Pennant and Babel will stay wide and are fast and can trouble their full backs (I think Rafa sees that part of Chelsea as a weak point). I also think we will go with Crouch. Torres and Crouch are both good in the air I think the same tactics as the league game can work. I would not mark Ben Haim, Johnson and Cole down as dominant in the air and add Babel to the equation as he is quite tall. I reckon we can trouble them in the air (Terry cant be everywhere !).

 

I think Drogba and Pizarro could be a good combination for them so we'll have to be on our toes.

it was cause i couldnt be arsed to take the time to fully spell an oppositions players name and went for an abbreviation.

Essien is supposedly out until next week. Mourinho said on Tuesday/Wednesday that he would need 10 days for the knee to recover. But we have seen miracle recoveries before. A good tackle early on should test the knee.
