But he wasn't hyped was he. No fecer knew who he was. He arrived, seemed to be pretty good, got injured, and became pretty s***.

 

Hype is what happened with Cisse - that was major major hype. Diouf was hyped as well. I guess when players cost 10+ mill, that happens. Oh, and has 3 or 4 good games in the World Cup, that helps too Kirkland was hyped up on the basis of one game when he let in a s*** load of goals. We should have known better.

I kind of know what you mean about Song, but the youngest player to captain his national side in the WC etc, personally I had very high hopes for him but he was a clumsy f*** at times. I was trying to go through all of the 'jigsaw' players from way back
