New job, new country, new life

So, I've been out in Bahrain now for about 5 weeks and pretty much settled in. I must say the lifestyle people are leading out here is quite an eye opener. There are expats from all walks of life out here quite frankly living it up.

 

The cost of living is extremely low, cars, boats and property are comparatively cheap, salaries are good and there is no income tax. Top that off with lots of demand for a skilled western workforce, brilliant weather, crystal blue sea, tolerance of Western activities which some Middle East countries forbid and it really is quite an amazing lifestyle.

 

This must be one of the best kept secrets around. I can't believe I wasted time grinding away in London.
